Brief Achievements
Estimated leaf cutter bees diversity based on agro climatic zones
Described 48 species of leaf cutter bees belongs to the family Megachilidae
Identified 44 plant species belonging to 18 families as leaf cutter bees foraging plants
I have also developed artificial nesting reeds from Ipomeaplant species to conserve leaf cutter bees
First time floral biology of Grewia flavescens Juss. has been revealed
I have been involved in insect pollination studies of Jatropha (Jatropha curcas), Sunnhemp (Crotalaria juncea, L.) Niger (Guizotia abyssinica), Donky berry (Grewia flavescens), Karanja (Pongamia pinnata)
