Brief Achievements
Molecular based detection and genetic diversity based characterization of fungal and bacterial diseases viz. Bipolaris oryzae, Bipolaris sorghicola, Alternaria padwickii, Collectotrichum capsici, Ganoderma spp. using different molecular tools like PCR and loop mediated isothermal amplification assay
Functional genomics (Microarray and microRNA array), proteomics (2-Dimensional gel electrophoresis) and systems biology studies of anti-inflammatory medicinal phytocompounds on human and mouse immune cells viz. bone marrow derived dendritic cells
Generation and purification of monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies against various pathogenicity gene(s) using specialized CellLine bioreactors
Cloning and sequencing of immune related gene(s) and evaluated their efficacy both under in vitro (lab) and in vivo (animal model) conditions
Studied the efficacy of various fungal and bacterial biocontrol agents and their mechanism of actions against plant pathogenic fungal, bacterial and viral pathogens both under greenhouse and field conditions
