Brief Achievements
Studied the fruit fly fauna of Peninsular India and the Andaman and Nicobar islands, prepared an illustrated key for the same.
Mapped the distribution of 14 species of Genus Bactrocera Macquart (Diptera: Tephritidae) in Kerala.
Resolved the identity and distribution of B. caryeae (Kapoor), a member of B. dorsalis complex in India
